i swapped the cams in my LSJ for comp cams stage 1. getting a code for the cam sensor. anybody know how to set up the cam sensor. i did it once before. a shop told me #4 piston TDC, line up the marks on the sensor, stick it in. this worked for me last time but no luck this time...

what i do is screw in compression guage rotate engine by hand and when the engine starts to build compression i keep an eye on the guage and the timing marks on the cover and balancer and when the guage peaks line up the timing marks then line up the marks on the cps housing instal and your done

 

i did that with no luck. im wondering if ZZP welded in the hex for that sensor in the wrong position

Im having the same **** lol. I have pulled it out and rotated it one notch a few times. Damn sensor likes to turn to easy though so its hard.
