change your camshafts to larger/longer duration cams, keeps valves open longer creating larger charge, more hp

daamn man! i wanna get my car cammed sooo bad...to bad no vendors (except for JBP) make cams for the LE5, only option is a re-grind

i changed the valve spring and retainers, and took out the balance shafts and put in the GM Racing neutral shafts, and it pulls damn hard up to 8000 rpm's with about 18.5psi boost!!, oh, and its not tuned up top with the meth yet!!! hehehehe

fricken awesome. makes the motor shake a little more at idle, but it spins up there much faster now. Relieves somewheres around 8 lbs of rotational force.

havent dynoed it yet, but cost is around 2500 for everything i did, and a week without a car

AGREED, i just gotta sit down with sunburst_ss and figure out how we can hide it some more with HPTuners.

If i had secrets about tuning it i would, but we worked on it for about 5 hours the other night, and couldnt hit it right. He got the idle to cut down on the surging, but today it got bad again and stalled on me 3 times.
