I saw a youtube video of a cobalt ls with a stage 2 camshaft, and some exhaust mods. it sounded awesome. ive got a stage 2 2006 ss/sc, but what is a stage 2 cam? is it something specific to non boosted cobalt/ion motors? comp cams has an extreme energy line that has some cams for 2.0 s/c ecotec, but what else would be involved in a cam swap? different springs, head work, etc? thanks.

 

you going to need adj cam gears to degree the cm in and depending on how larg the cam is you will need springs exh porting is benificial to do to get the most out of the cam
