can somebody please end the 2.9 debate.

Searching through the threads and it seems like a split decision on if a 2.9 pully is safe on the gm stage 2 tune. Does anyone have a 2.9 pully on there stage 2 tune that also have air fuel ratio's and what not? I need to make more power so i can keep my car is faster than my brothers. He has a speed 3 and just got a tune, intake, and i/c pipes. I really dont want to blow all the money on 60 # injectors and a new tune cause i just bought the stage 2 from gm.

Yes the 2.9 is safe to run on the stage 2 tune..... although you won't feel much difference untill tuned!

I noticed somewhat of faster boost with Nates 2.9 over the stage 2 kit. But it is safe to run just be careful during the cold months cause you may lean out a little more.

I have no first hand experience on Trifectas LSJ tunes... but their LNF tunes are pretty sick!

Oh, boy! The Stage 2 tune is rich enough to support a 2.9 during the winter as long as you don't BEAT the ******* **** out of it!

But yes a wideband is ALWAYS a good idea

If you do somethign like this i would recommend a wideband or a/f ratio gauge. Depending where you are it could have different affects than me here in Michigan cause of altitude.
