if the exhaust leak is before the wideband, that will deff throw off the wideband readings.
when my DP cracked the wideband always read lean as hell.

it's leaking at the head... cylinders 2&3 are basically not going through the turbo and/or exhaust.
Stud broke, and gasket is now gone. Ripping it all apart hopefully this weekend. New gaskets and studs and should be good to go. Just gonna take at least 6 hours to pull everything out and put it back together. Also new wategate on the way, so I might just wait til next weekend before I dyno

hey what exhaust manifold gasket are you currently using? the stock one i assume? I bet that the stock manifold gasket could be much improved if some of the useless "ports" werent in it. like the ports in teh gasket right below the head port holes. im sure you know what im talking about. PM me cause i am working on getting custom ones made.

nah got a 4 layer metal one... thicker one though. C/A gets em for their headers. They work great, just there was a leak at the head to begin with due to a stripped stud, just got worse over time

yeah hopefully. I need to get it finished before next sunday since that's the next dyno day. Gonna be one hell of a thrash next thurs-saturday to get it all apart and back together again. Pretty much Have to take the exhaust off, take the turbo out, drop the manifold.. etc etc.

Seriously tho, that is sick. But why couldn't you just wait another year for the LNF?

GM won't take my car back on a trade in, plus I really like my car anyway. Have spent a lot of money on parts to build the new motor up for this one. PLus the LNF is gonna be a bitch to tune with the direct injection. I"ll probably pick up a few parts off the new one though like the rims and brakes to update what I got.
But also the new ss/tc ain't making 350+whp like I am lol

lsj turbo > lnf turbo
qtf as well as the fact that the lnf turbo balt has a teenie ass turbo, using the lsj for turboing is a much better ion atm IMO, intake and exhaust manifolds from the lnf will be nice for anyone else doing this in the future...

plus doing it yourself > buying it

dyno number are already up... 326 whp on a low reading dyno.. untuned pretty much with a major boostleak...
Track is too cold.... and price.. well thats already been posted.. I have about 5-10 vids up on youtube if you want to see some street pulls and dyno runs..
here's the vids

[url=http://videos.streetfire.net/video/085d3294-c80a-42b1-b106-99e001607199.htm]22psi, not much traction til 3rd WOT.

here's the dyno scree

326 whp 290 wtq, same boost loss issue

[url=http://videos.streetfire.net/video/f2d196aa-f743-4131-9b06-99ce015c12dd.htm]1st pull 324whp

turbo cobalt drive by on 16 psi, part throttle, still breaking the tires loose at 60mph at the top of second gear

turbo cobalt. untuned at 16psi only 60% throttle due to pegged maf sensor

it's gonna be great if you do the rim swap and such cuz people will think you're a ss/tc then they'll see your hazzards lol

i think the lnf balt is good for all ecotecs though because no matter what ... it gives more opportunities and at least now we'll have an intake mani and turbo mani that works easily

NOW if we could just get some tuning for those damned 2.2s

Honestly i see no problem with tuning the 2.2's. People just complain because it isnt as easy but honestly they will never do it. They are all talk....
