Cant trap over 100mph!WHY!?
There is more than 3...dont forget the blue one and the silver one...the ones not club affiliated...ur not the only lsj's out here :p and we both know if I race either manny or Jason I would pretty much b wasting my gas...Let's not forget my race against ssstealth, I had a slipping g Clutha and zero intercooling and I pulled or the first race and e slowly pulled me on the second...even with a handicap I held pretty even...
Would b a goood run...but he doesn't come out to meets much...Maybe once every 2-3months

Agreed, but I'm happy with the trap speed - means the car is making good power. I'll take what I can get without buying something I'll use once a year (radials). :-)
I reeled in a newer mustang GT and a modded WRX tonight. The WRX kid came over and chatted a bit, not sure what he was pushing but I'm guessing he wasn't expecting me to catch him, haha.
This is my secret to more power:

Uhhhh... I just wanna say your shifts were pretty slow so work on that. Also the speed of your shifts does have a big impact on ET and trap speed and 1/4 mile time, I'm sorry, I don't really know all the terms, I just look at the numbers I put down and think of ways to make those numbers better. Yeah the stock flywheel will carry momentum when you shift but doesn't it make sense that the more momentum you carry with you the more it aids in acceleration? Then there's wind resistance against your car and every millisecond you don't have power to the wheels is speed lost. Its just common sense to me. Yeah hard shifting puts wear and tear on your tranny and components but that's the price of racing your vehicle. My 2.2 traps just under 90 and runs 15.1. I'm satisfied with that for my mods. And with your mods on your car, I would look into your tune as well as driving.
He is actually VERY correct from my experience. I got a trifecta tune did some Datalogs with vince told him it was running so rich I was blowing black smoke and reaked of gas and idle was so rough my dash was rattling like crazy with all stock mounts. Did a race against a straight Gm stg 2 car (only modification) and kept getting walked after racing a total of 5 times. My mods at the time were 2.8, 60's, ported S/C and throttle body, Fujita intake full header back exhaust and meth injection. Did a total of somewhere between 15- 20 datalogs when he said i had to send my tuner back because everything looked fine. I send tuner back week later car freaks out by revving like crazy then dying constantly until I waited for an hour and a half and finally was able to get the car back home and got a local Hptuner to tune me and saw a huge difference in power and smoother idle. So yeah I agree with Blackbalt when he says Trifecta is a waste of money atleast with LSJs.
I agree with the intercooler pump dying scenario. Watch your boost gauge and see if it drops off top end at all. I bet ya it does. You should be able to run over 100 no problem. My first run ever like 3 years ago was a 15.0 at 100. something bone stock. I think your too hot
Another thing that helped me big time when i was still supercharged was short shifting 1-2. I found that the top half was absolutely no traction anyway so the faster I could get into 2nd gear and start pulling the better my times. I think I dropped 5 tenths from shifting anywhere from 5500-6000 into 2nd.
My best trap speeds were when I was completely stock with an intake tho. I went 103. And that was simply due to my car being too hot on the 2.8 with no cooling mods.
