Car fixed!

well, I updated my old thread, but nobody paid attention. And since I'm an attention *****, well just on this board, I'm making a new thread.

Well, good news everyone! I'm getting my car fixed under warranty. I took it to a separate dealer and they started to give me the "reach around" as well. I told them whatever they gotta do, just find out what exactly is wrong. I dropped the car off yesterday, they called me just this morning and told me it was a defective part and it'll be fixed under warranty. The roll pin that is connected to the shifter cables had broken. That was all it was. All this grief over something so simple. I'm very happy that it wasn't worse. I should get my car back this week sometime! Thanks to all that were concerned.

Update: just got the call, going to pick my car up now!!!!!

All of my shifts have been hard, I thought that was normal. The dealer called me today to tell me that they are replacing my transmission.

I got 11,000 miles on my car. First time the pin has broke on me. I'm taking it easy on my car till next year anyway tho. I've already sold off my h/e and my water/meth should be sold by tomorrow. I'll mod my car back next year. I had to have the money to fix the wife's windshield anyway. As soon as it snows here I won't be driving the cobalt anyway, I'll drive the AWD suv. Cobalt will have storage insurance put on it then.
