car making ticking noise??

Car is running fine, not throwing any codes. I was driving fast and hit a bump and it started when i parked my car and re started it. Sounds like a faint exhaust leak or lifter tick. You can only hear it when im accelerating, or if its parked only when i tap the gas throttle. any Ideas???

since your modded it could be the stock flex pipe has a leak in it. maybe check that out and get some mounts to fix the problem of it re occuring

now that you said that it may be a heat shield that broke loose.

Im still driving it around, the bogging can be bad i just have to keep rpms up when i shift. It has to be an exhaust leak, I cant see anything Im gonna try to lift it up higher, the noise is coming from under the car for sure.

stock down pie flex coupling leak most deninantley if the car only does it when you get some boost in the enine due to the greater airflow moving through it

see the weird thing is I can hear the faint tick when i start my car and when its at idle..it just gets louder as I accelerate. Im still driving it around cause Im broke and with no job so I really dont drive it much anyways. If I have the A/C on and come to a stop the rpms jump up and down and one time the car died...now i know this is a commmon problem as mine as always done this to some degree, however its BAD. And I HAVE to have my A/C in Vegas! I got underneath and looked at everything but what the hell do I know?? How much will GM charge just to look at it??? Also the car is yet to throw a code or go in limp mode...
