I don't think the car was from NJ. The car is two tone black and red, has rims, is lowered, has after market head lights, and apparently a bunch of other stuff.

He had a local chevy dealer check it out, and it was the boost solenoid apparently. Pretty sure they replaced it, or something to that effect.

That would be crazy. Did it have silver leaf pin striping between the red and black, and an aftermarket hood?

I haven't physically seen the car, so I don't know for sure. The car is two tone red and black, has rims, and a carbon wing and hood, after market head lamps, not sure what else appearance wise.

Not really certain of the modifications, etc. I haven't heard back from him, but am assuming the problem is now fixed.

Im pretty sure my friend purchased it off a local chevy dealer that acquired the vehicle at auction, or something to that effect. (he purchased it at auction off a local chevy dealer)
