Castrol Syntec Oil ?

yeah it is full synthetic. But I heard from some where. I can't remember where that it wasn't approved to run in GM engines. I hope that isn't true. Because I am ruinning it right now. But I am due for an oil change and I will switch back to Mobil 1 if it is the only oil approved by GM for our cars. I don't want to blow the engine or spin a bearing due to un approved oil for our cars.
You should be able to run any fully synthetic oil.
The new castrol edge syntec was on sale at my local autozone, and it even comes with a free oil filter! You might want to check your local autozone and jump on that deal. The only real reason i bought it is because it was on sale, and i plan on changing it after 100 miles. I just put on a newly remanfuactured head, so that's why I'm changing it so soon. then comes in the Amsoil ^_^. I'm sure there wouldn't be any problem using it until the DIC says 0% though in a normal situation. It's fully synthetic and thats pretty much all that matters.
