ya it's a direct fit should be no problem, but if you run into any problems come on here and let someone know.

why did u have to cut off the muffler? shouldnt it just pull right out with the rest of the piping?

you have to cut the muffler off because the pipe is too long and won't manueavuer (sp??) over the rear axle... one cut by the axle and it will pop right off...

as far as ease of installation, i did mine myself with my father... it took us about 45 minutes, and i have never installed an exhaust before... piece of cake... unbolt the old exhaust from the downpipe (what someone ^^ referred to as the cat pipe) take off the rubber hangers and cut the muffler... then just bolt the new pipe to the downpipe, (keep it loose for now) hang the pipes on the rubber hangers, and get everything in place... give a good tighten and you're good to go... drive it for a while, listen for rattles... if it sounds like something is loose, tighten it up...

now keep in mind that if you have been driving, the pipes are going to be HOT!! especially the downpipe... so be careful to not burn yourself...

u can use a hack saw, or a sawsall or something like that... a regular hacksaw would work fine, just may take a little longer...

and youre welcome

Get a can of wd-40 an 15mm wrench and your good to go

The bolts to the catalitic converter are 15mm, spray them with some wd forty and let them sit for 30 or so seconds. then remove the two bolts. I suggest cutting the old exhaust at the weld near the back tires, once cut remove the black rubber things that hold it on. (if they are hard spray some wd-40 on them). then just stick the corsa in.

I did mine yesterday I spent longer looking for something to cut the stock exhaust out than I actually did working.

edit

if you want to do this right after you finish driving get your garden hose and spray the heck out of the exhaust and bottom of the cat.
