cat removal....
cat removal....
I was thinking of removing my cat for the next four years (when you buy a new car in Az, you don't need it smog checked for five years), and was wondering if anyone on here's done it and what kind of results you got from it? A friend of mine is a good welder and said he'd do it for me for free if I wanted.

Hack the sensor with a resistor i guess, figure out what a Normal reading would be with a Multimeter, then unplug and buy the cooresponding resistor and put it in the sensor plug like those ghetto intake mods

they don't make one YET.. at least one that you can plug in. but on a 20,000 dollar car i am not cutting the sensor off, and splicing wires.
this is how we use to fix the cel on our evos should work for the cobalt as well it is a mechanical fix and you don't have to splice your wires http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthread.php?t=98573
