Catless DP Installed, Some Questions

Hey guys, I just put a custom made 3" catless downpipe on my car, I was going to put the gm honned manifold on as well but i couldn't get the two bolts by the drivers side that hold the stock one on, so i just put the dp on. I replaced the gasket from header to dp and dp to catback. When i started the car everything sounded fine, but when it started warming up it starting smoking by the headers and it smells kinda like something burning , i'm thinking this is just the new gaskets "burning" in, but i just wanted to see if it is or if its a leak or something. Also am i going to have any problems going from a catted dp to a catless? I dont think i should as I have a zzp pcm, but just wanna make sure.

hey

zzp pcm should have the rear o2 bung delete. to run catless or high flow cats.

what did u do to the bung you took out of ur stock down pipe? is anything touchin the new dowpipe. if not u should be fine.

i had a wierd smell and little smoke, when in put my new dp on. but it was just the first time heatin up the new pipe

The smoke is from the grease that was most likely on your hands when you installed the dp.
