catless on the s/c cobalts sound like ass so raspy... i put it on mine then changed to vibrant with a highflow... just fyi
The cats aren't the big restriction, it's where the downpipe crushes down where the 02 sensor is.
I gutted my factory d/p just becuase when i bought the car the dealership had to swap on the factory d/p because the previous owner had a catless d/p...they used the secondary bung to put the wideband sensor in that was with the car, thus making it not really effective for tuning. at the time it was just easier, and free, to gut the cat vs having another bung welded on or buying another d/p when i knew i would get a header/dp later. I have the GMPP catback with the factory header/manifold and gutted factory d/p and its sounds pretty good and doesnt really have any rasp, picked up some noise too
ok as i read...with or without...my choice..so im perfectionnist and extremist..i whant the max that my set-up can do....
if i remove the 2 cat(dp and the principal )i will be able to run with my car even if ive got cel??
