Is the maf connected properly? Did you get any dirt on it at all?
Go to autozone and get a free codescan and let us know what code it is. That will help out a lot. For now i'd re-check the MAF connection. It's probably just loose.

wow I can understand your frustration since I got the dryflow to AVOID CEL's, not have them popping up and what not. I would say clean the MAF and unplug the battery for longer but who knows? My friggin' balt will throw power steering codes along with security codes along with a festival of lights at the dash sometimes. As long as it still runs, warranty gone bye bye today at 36001 miles!!

It's the sensor that is retained in the tube by 2 screws. Get some QD Electronic cleaner and spray it after you remove it from the car. If problems persist its probably the way is is flowing through your intake.
You can always take it to Autozone to get your code checked for free to really make sure what the culprit is.

just so you know if you decide to pull the maf its easier to get through the headlight socket just pull the headlight rather than the wheel well
and double check that everythings tight not just a visual inspection and also check the vac line on the tube between the throttle body and fender

check for any leaks or bad seals in the tubing for the airbox mod, Mine was setting off the same code and it was due to a connection where the rubber piece was folded in and allowing extra air to get into the intake.

Are all years the same , or just the 07's with the new OS? I've had a Aem CAI on for the last 3 months and not one issue, before that was an airbox mod for over a year ..no cel . Wondering if it's a fluke or bound to happen eventually . I did have a P0171 the first week i bought it new but the dealer flashed an update that was supposed to take care of the issue .
Here's the TSB
#06-06-04-033: 2.0L/2.2L LSJ/L61 Engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL)/Service Engine Soon (SES) Lamp Illuminated with DTC P0171, Fuel Trim System Lean, Set (Reprogram ECM) - (Jun 21, 2006)
Subject: L61 Engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL)/Service Engine Soon (SES) Lamp Illuminated with DTC P0171 "Fuel Trim System Lean" Set (Reprogram ECM)
Models: 2005-2006 Chevrolet Cobalt, Cobalt SS Supercharged
2006 Chevrolet HHR
2004-2006 Chevrolet Malibu
2005-2006 Pontiac Pursuit (Canada Only)
2004-2005 Saturn ION Redline
2005-2006 Saturn ION
with Ecotec™ 2.0L or 2.2L I-4 Engine (VINs P, F - RPOs LSJ, L61)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Condition
Some customer may comment that the MIL/SES lamp is Illuminated. Further diagnostic investigation with a scan tool may reveal a DTC P0171 Fuel Trim System Lean. No other driveability or performance concerns may be reported.
Cause
The most likely cause of this issue may be that the engine calibrations need to be updated to correct a variation in the Mass Air Flow Sensor.
Correction
DO NOT replace the MAF sensor, the ECM or any other parts.
Important:
• Chevrolet/Pontiac Dealers: The ECM calibration is available to dealerships as part of TIS2000 incremental satellite update version 6.5, which was broadcast to dealers June 12, 2006 or later. For the dealerships that use CDs, they were mailed out June 2006 or later.
• Saturn Retailers: Before installing the new ECM calibration, make sure the Saturn Service Stall (SSS) version is TIS 6.5 2006 or later.
• While the ignition is OFF, apply the parking brake to disable the daytime running lights (DRLs) prior to starting reprogramming procedures
• The technician must select the "Reprogram" option in order to reprogram the ECM.
Reprogram the ECM with the latest calibration. This calibration, or any that follow, is designed to address this DTC P0171 concern. Refer to Service Programming System (SPS) in SI for reprogramming procedures. As always, make sure your Tech 2® is updated with the latest software version
Warranty Information
For vehicles repaired under the 8-year/80,000 mile (130,000 km) emission controller warranty, use:
