First of all i would like to start of by saying im new to this forum (absolutely love this forum!) and proud owner of a 2007 Chevy Cobalt Supercharged = ) that i just got 2 days ago with that being said im upset as hell because my check engine light turned on a while ago = (. I went to my local Autozone to get it scanned and these two codes popped up P2A01 and P0137 can some please explain to me what that is the guy i was talking to made it impossible for me to understand lol. So can some one explain and are they bad?Also shuold i still drive it or just wait to take it to the shop?

 

the P2A01 code is the ECM on your car. its either going bad or its already fucked, the ECM is the brain of your car it basically tells the car what to do while its running and some what at startup. The other code is for your O2 sensors which is probably on because of the other code so no biggy but that ECM being bad is something you should get looked at. I dont know how much a ECM would cost from GM but id look for someone on here with a totaled car and try to buy theres if yours is no good or go to a junk yard and find a wrecked cobalt ss 05-07 and see ones there becareful with that one tho you would probably want to get it tuned because you dont know much about it when you get it. Good luck if you have the option id take the car back where you bought it and punch the person in the face.

 

The car is still under warranty ill take it to the shop and hopefully get it fixed, you know why this would happen though? is it because of something i did with the car? Should i be worried? sorry for all these questions im just upset as f$*k cause i love this damn car its soo nice lol and i hate to see anything wrong with it.
