Its most likely a p0171 code, which means your AFR is too lean. I just got one for my K&N intake. It seems to be very common with intakes on cobalts

I had this similar problem, I installed the ZZP 3" CAI....2 days later threw the code P0496 Evap Emission High Pure Flow Fault...trying to figure out what is causing that to throw a code exactly. I'd go to a auto zone or advance auto parts store have them scan it, it is free to use, at least for me it was.

After market air filters that require oil like K&N will spread oil onto the MAF sensor and that will cause a CEL.

Most likely it will disappear in a day or two, if not have danger zone(Autozone) scan and delete the code. If it comes back, clean the MAF and MAP sensors and delete the codes again.

great news it went out today. Was very pleased. Like the oil in filter idea sounds legit. Hopefully it will stay out. It's a wicked upgrade....not sure if its worth dollar for horsepower gain but whatever.

thankyou guys
