Check Engine Light

Does anyone know how to reset the check engine light without disconnecting the battery? I have an 07 SS/SC with an after market downpipe. Any advice will be apreciated, Thanks!

get a code reader from any auto parts store. it's a good thing to have.

thats right they have those mini ones that are smaller than a cell phone,great things for turning off codes

get an intercceptor!!!! haha, i love mine.

i have an aftermarket DP also, and i clear it out. although, it will just come back man. that's what's goood about an interceptor, u can clear it whenever you need to.

I don't have a cat, I know thats the reason why the check engine light is comming on. Is there anything I can use to keep the light from comming on?

im actully working on an exhaust simulator project as we speek, not done yet though... i have the same thing, if u clear a code its comming right back, ive almost got the o2 sim figured out

reinstall the cat, you cant be loosing that much hp thru the cat or get a hi flow cat from jegs.
