check engine light problem on my ss/sc

hey guys i took my cat off not to long ago and now i have a check engine light...i tried a spark plug non-fouler which worked on my friends srt-4 but it didnt work on my cobalt...any suggestions.

HPT tuning to delete the 2nd 02 sensor.

you need to get the downstream sensor turned off in the ECU. find someone with HPTuners.

when you say you took the cat off, do you mean you got a new downpipe that didn't have a cat? or did you cut the stock one off and replace with pipe? but you did replace it with something, right? sorry to ask this question, but you didn't just cut it off and leave open pipes, right?

If you cant find someone with HPT, you can purchase a resistor block called an O2 cheater that sends a steady votage back to the VCM making it think the catalyst efficiency is good. Basically, the computer thinks you still have a Convertor and its working good. About 40 bucks is what I have seen them for.

who dont think they will not get a code if they take there cat off its normal for these days cars
