plz don't start **** in this thread...i don't want it locked..
there is no finger pointing goin on here..
and for the record the tune had nothing to do with this..
the bolt that holds the balance shaft socket on snapped Im not sure y it did. all i know is that my engine has been to hell and back a few times.
i raced it just about every weekend...
and never turned down a good race. with a 7750 redline Im sure the bearing gave up. the balance shafts spin twice as fast as the crank dose..

wow. did you use a new tty crank bolt when you changed to the NB shafts? I have seen pictures on a Saab of the teeth on the waterpump drive and balance shafts completely worn out, but the pictures also showed some pretty dirty oil and it was an old old car lotsa miles. you are blazing new ground here I think ....

Mrb and i think it could be the tolerance in the zzp NB shafts...cuz they r made out of different material than the stock and they both have different expansion and contraction rates.
take a stock balance shaft put it in a vice use a infer red temp gun to moniter temps and heat it up to 200deg and then mic it record the findings then do the same thing to the zzp nbs and see if it has a measurement difference at tempeture if the measurement is within a couple of tenths of a thousands i would lean towards oil starvation on that side
i think the gm nbs shafts start out as unmachined stock balance shafts
i hope the ele water pump works if it does that would be mega badass
