Check your upper rad hose!

Guy's, check your upper rad Hose. Where it slightly touches the Supercharger neck on 2 diffferent area's the rubber from the hose is getting eaten up. If that hose perforates then you know the rest. Am going to the dealer.

Thanks for the warning. As soon as I get my car back from the dealer I will be sure to check that out.

I'll have to check mine as well when I get it back from the dealer. I think GM put absolutely no thought in when it came time to do the routing for the wiring and hoses in the engine compartment. Thanks for the heads up denny.

I agree, I had to put insulation over some wires to keep them from being frayed from the supercharger.

That Hose is only covered by a very thin layer of braided steel, Mine is eaten out already and started rubbing on the rubber. Take a look under your hood and let me know. My car has 3800km on the clock.

It is not braided steel on mine. It is braded plastic and a nother rubber sleve under that. I looked at it and it is not rubbing on SC but it is close. I thing GM did a good design because there dose not seem to be any other place to rout that hose. anyway good looking out though. One of these day I will change that hose to the braided steel kind. Just in case.
