I'm looking for a SRT-4 type of exhaust sound...anyone ever done this or seen it anywhere else? It's hard to really tell how it sounds..
Any ideas how to "mimic" the pop if this isn't the way to go?

you can't/won't get your cobalt to sound like an srt-4.

Bout the only way your gonna achieve that is to get an srt-4.

 

They run straight pipes right off the turbo....also they have dual exhaust, and as for the Cherry bomb, don't go that way. Just *** your tunning up real bad and you can sound like a STi But seriously get a header, catless dp and maybe GMPP Sport exhaust and maybe?

 

I'm sure I don't have to trade in to get a little pop..I said style not exact...

 

you want to sound like an srt-4 your going to have to buy an srt4

 

my set up gets some nice popping noise when i am gearing down.

my setup is dc sports header xtc 2.5dp and dc sports exhuast

i mean, when you first fire it up and drive, not so much. but after you got her warmed up, you can definately hear it.

I replaced my stock cat with a glass pack and the stock muffler with a 40 series flow master and I have all the pop I want. I get many positive comments on how 'mean' my car sounds
