From what my dealership told me (not all the same) is that if its a GM product and the dealership installs it its all good.

If you use the search you will find lots of info.

as long as one of your modifcations cannot be directly linked a problem, you should be covered. For instance, if your AC goes out, it wasn't the K&N intake that caused it. But, if you do an intake, exhaust, cams, smaller pulley, and a piggyback / stage1 and a piston shatters, you're screwed.

You're still liable if the part causes damage. The only thing I know of that's covered under warranty are the stage kits and I believe also the GM Perfomance exhaust. If you buy a CAI, even if the dealer installs it (which some won't install aftermarket mods, depends on the dealer), and it causes a problem, say your MAF sensor is destroyed because down the road you took the filter off to clean it and didn't get it put back properly or you somehow got dirt or excessive amounts of water on it then you're responsible for any and all damages caused.

I'm having my dealership install my clutch/intake/header/stage 2 but i'm not expecting it to be under warranty.

I'll probably get raped in the butt with the install prices but there's no one around me that I know of that would install these (I never did work on a car and never will until I get some training because I don't want to fudge anything up)
