ChevyCobaltSS3 Review/My Current Setup

I had been looking for someone local or close to install my gm stage 2 kit for my current setup, whenever I would ask about a custom tune they would tell me they will call me back and never call me or want 400 dollars for the tune alone, then another 400 for installing JUST the gm stage 2 stuff and nothing else.

Anyways iv talked to James couple times about the build I wanted to do and I finally decided I wanted to have him do it, I drove 8 hours to ky from ga without any sleep to have James do my install and tune, and it was ******* worth it. Alot of people give James **** because he helps people and don't take advantage of you. I won't give out the details of the price I paid but he Installed a ported m62, zzp CAI, Dual Pass, gm stage 2, aem wideband and custom tune me for alot less then anyone on this site would have. He offered to let me drive his car around town while he worked on mine but I wanted to atleast help him install the stuff as it was a great learning exp for me.

My tune is not aggressive because iv got 93k miles on the engine but he did say that my valves looked good and my old plugs had a good burn. Im doing 21 timing with 0 knock 0 misfires, did several 2nd and 3rd gear pulls all the way to 7k rpm ait2 never got past 120ish. I had him limit boost to 30% in first because my car was bouncing like **** with the new power and only 50% limit on boost and that was with ottp stage 1 mount. Iv got to get it dynoed but I asked him what he thought my setup should be putting out and according that the data from HPtuners and the math thing he did, it came out to 266 hp so ill post the dyno as soon as I can get one.

I'd recommend chevycobaltss3/james to anyone that is looking for a amazing tuner. It was worth me driving 8 hours and standing in the cold all day. My gf even agrees! She was with us sitting in the car all day as we worked on it lol.

Current Setup Is
Ported M62
GM Stage 2 Kit /w Custom Tune
ZZP Cold Air Intake
ZZP Dual Pass
Bad-Mab Shorty Header
ZZP 3" Downpipe /w 2.5" Exit
Megan Racing 2.5" Catback
OTTP Front Trans Mount
LNR Rear Trans Mount
AEM Wideband

Car in the garage about to get started.

The M62 James ported for me.

Inside the M62.

Ghetto rigged intake, it broke so I duck taped that ****.

Old M62 Off working on Intake manifold.

Intake manifold off!

We cleaned out the manifold and installed it with the dual pass.

ZZP cai put in(fyi was a bitch to get in lol)

Everything installed with custom tune done.

AEM Wideband Installed
