Cia Header nd Dp

I was thinking about purchasing the Cia 2.5" combo but i have the gmpp sport exhaust. Since the exhaust is 2.25 inches, i was wondering if it would even bolt up, or if it even makes sense to get it. Any helpers?

mine goes 3 dp, to 2.25 at the end.

The dp and the muffler are the restrictions. opening it up more than 2.5 is just a waste unless your getting a TVS or Turbo swap. The method you are talking about is what i am using for velocity + scavenging...or commonly misinterpreted as back-pressure.

ALOT of people put their stock DP back on for the torque gains due to the piping being too big.

It can be done, just tell CIA that your bolting it to the stock setup and it will come out fine.

yes it will fit. the stock downpipe is 2.5 inches and so is stock exhaust, yet the GMPP still bolts up. you'll be good

stock downpipe FTL. i dunno if you have seen it but its garbage. the piping must go down to less than 2 inches where the o2 sensor is. yes there might be a change is the powerband due to piping size but torque gains? no way

ive seen it from every angle countless times. i will NEVER put it on just for the EGT gains you get. Yes you lose torque opening the exhaust and losing VELOCITY.
