Cleaned and recalibrated the maf

Hit some crazy numbers on hpt, car pulls insanely hard

42.39lb/min through the maf or 321 g/sec

1.53 g/cyl peak consistently 1.45 or more wot

I have been having trouble with my MAF recently. I figure this because my Meth isn't spraying sometimes (Snow MAF based kit) and also when logging the car we discovered that my VE graph just stays flatlined and then spikes and i show about 5-7 degrees of knock.
Do you think this is the sign of a bad MAF sensor?

clean the maf and see what happens.

lsj, it still bothers me that you're hitting that high in the cells, and still running 10.10 afr.

The only strange thing that it has been doing is that i'll get a good amount of knock around 4k rpms under wot. And we logged the car and the VE graph is just showing a flat line not reading anything then spiking when my car knocks then flat again.

these cars don't use the ve table.
if your maf blows apart. then it will use it, but not till then.

it's the VE airflow on brians car... show 2.56 lb/min..... and will randomly spike 38.xx... then drop right back down... completely flatlines

It's not a ve table reading, it's VE airflow.... I have no idea what's causing it.

Take off your filter, look up your intake and you will see a shiny silver metal piece that is your maf spray with brake clean or something not to abbrasive and watch dirtyness go away... thats about all i did first time i cleaned it in a while and the k&n oiled it up pretty good so my idle was starting to surge at stops and my tunes were all over the place

Brake clean eh'?

I know that pretty much cleans damn near everything, but something as so sensitive as the MAF?

I pulled off the filter not too long ago to clean it out, and the inside of the pipe didn't look too bad. Maybe this weekend i'll tear it apart again to clean the MAF. I doubt it'll make a difference taking it out versus leaving it in.
