Clutch problem?

Whenever I'm in 4th gear at about 3000 rpm and give it some gas my engine always climbs a couple hundred rpm than pulling acting like a slipping clutch, but than when I put it into 5th drive really slow and stomp on it this doesn't happen. Anybody know what's going on here? Happen to anybody else? It also slips sometimes at 3000 rpm in rarely 3rd and sometimes 5th gear too.

Are you accelerating right away? Like can you FEEL it.. Because our spedometers have a slower reaction time then our tacs. This can give the ILLUSION of a slipping clutch even when nothing is wrong. If you want to see what I mean, put the car in neutral while driving to a stop sign, and stop rather quickly but noting super quick, and as soon as you feel the car stop you can look down and see the spedometer still showing speed. going 5 4 3 2 1 0
