Its either just wore out or glazed. The link above is to the upgraded clutch kit for your car which is pretty much a ss/tc clutch. Make sure you either resurface or replace the flywheel. Give crateenginedepot a call and they will get you set up with everything you will need

Another possibility is that your TOB is dying... but you have to drop the transmission to change that, so you might as well jump up to the upgraded clutch kit that I posted (which includes the TOB, as well). Your stock clutch can more than likely be saved... but it would take someone that knows what they are doing. For one... stop flooring the car and doing whatever it is that you are doing when you're beating on it, because you obviously aren't doing it right. When daily driving the car around shift around 3k, nothing lower. Ensure that the clutch is fully released before applying throttle, as well. When leaving from a light, you don't need to ricer up the RPM's to 4k to get the car moving, either. I'm not saying that's what you're doing... but I know a lot of douche bags do actually do that, and then wonder why their clutches won't hold anything.

The stock clutch is quite a powerful unit... you just have to know how to treat it. Mine stayed with the car for 70,000 miles, with the last quarter of them coming from a turbo kit making ~350whp. It never actually died or started slipping either. My TOB died, so I changed it while I was in there.

The LSJ Upgraded Clutch is NOT the LNF clutch, or any variation of it. Its actually a Saab clutch, iirc.

been thinking of getting this kit for my 07 actually, or going with a KY stg2 or 3. Cannot beat the price of this though and what it includes. Decisions, decisions.

The GMPP kit is all you need. Feels like stock and will hold well into the 400's.
