cobalt=crap
the other day i was driving home and my stage 2 sc slow balt just blew up... i hate this car soooooo much. but seeing as i still owe on my loan and my car is worthless i am forced to fix it rather than leave this POS in a field and burn it. as such im replacing the engine with a new GM engine and getting my 3 year 100k warranty and plan to use that to my full advantage ;-) SOOooo im starting off right and putting the zzp stage 3 clutch and upgraded throwout bearing in there while the work is getting done. i will also be putting the gm stage 2 back on with the injen CAI.. i have a 2.8 pulley but have not found definitive information that i can or can not use that pulley with the gm stage 2 fuel system ie. injectors and tune on the ecu. i need an exhaust system but $5604 plus buying my wife a new car and payed $7200 for that (saab 9-3 linear) im pretty tapped out for right now lol.. so whos got goodies you wanna trade.
well my friend it damn sure did. 102k on the odometer and it just turned to crap at a stop light. ive had it for like 8 months and the car in my sig is the beast that gets all my attention so ive done nothing to this cobalt but daily it. i probably inherited a problem but since i dont know what damage was done before me its like i said. IT JUST BLEW UP. got it?
i dont drive hondas bud. mitsubishi. get off your period and read the post a little better. ill get this thing right, ive got the time and money. just a little pissed is all. how would you feel?
bad tune.. could be, but the gm tech said the ecu is loaded with gm stage 2 just like my VIN states... i think its something else.. after it died i pulled the dipstick and noticed milky looking oil which is water. head gasket was fine so i know its the laminovas. that probably did it. pulled plugs and oil was pouring out. just flat out gay. i took care of that engine. real good care... just bad luck..

Anyways. Plenty of people with almost 200k on their cars with no issue. From the ignorant way you talk I am going to assume it was negligence on the owners part, or a simple thing went wrong and the owner has no idea. Either way, like I said, an lsj isn't "just going to blow up" cruising around.
yea its not a supra genius. thats clearly not an inline 6. i didnt do anything but drive it. never raced it. its too slow for that. that car is a built conquest tsi. 2.6l rwd monster. but anyways... my attitude is simply the result of a string of bad luck. not intended to be projected toward others just MY car.
Rich enough, lean enough. Not the point. The injectors can handle a 2.9 when custom tuned with a leaner afr, a 2.8 isn't gonna happen without maxing them out. My 3.0 on 42's and 11.5afr was in the 90's.
sucks because i just changed the oil the prior week. saw nothing out of the ordinary... i dont care though. new engine is coming and ill "beat on it" if i please. and yours is broken too right? yea. stfu and get off my thread i dont like attitudes or pissing contests.. not here for that. just to chat and get info out.

If your car "just randomly blew up" you didn't take care of it(i.e. maintenance).
