Cobalt Extruded Honed Manifold

Has anyone put one on there ss sc ? Tryed doing a search and found nothing. And does anyone know if there are any gains to this over stock ?

Yes the one that GM has in the Cobalt Performance Parts. Looks like its for the 2.0

Hmm never heard of it before now...

I checked out link now and my opinion is this...

Why spend $300 on just a manifold when you could probably find a header out there that includes the b-pipe with it to connect to your exhaust system properly. If you were to buy that one, you would basically have to have a shop make the b-pipe for you which would be more money out your pocket.

That's how I see it...

From what I understood the GM Extrude Honed Manifold is a direct replacement for the factory manifold; it just bolts right in.

From a $$ to Performance standpoint.. On a Forced Induction car, the gains will be less impressive than when compared to the same work done on a N/A car. Having said that, it will improve performance on paper, you might not see a change at the track or dyno. Perhaps 1 or 2 WHP.

That was a very intersting read there and what i was looking for to see some numbers.
Now digging deeper with some head work or the one GM offers for our motors im guessin Ecotec High Performance CNC Ported Head, Cyl 88958619< That would make full use of the other mods .Probley bringing full life to the other mods along with getting a good tune.
