That's the best price I've seen so far. Gravana Tuning wants $159 plus shipping.

Just so you guys know the shifter doesn't look like the one in the picture. It is black not stainless and the shift knob is different.

Here is some info and pics of it, http://www.******************/forums/...ead.php?t=4324

Some people do it themselves and only claim it takes an hour or two, but I've honestly never installed one. If you don't know how, I'd probably take it somewhere. The dealership might even be able to install it as well...

Please (and politely lol) correct me, but doesn't the '05 SS/SC come from factory w/ a short throw? Or did I misinterpret my Specs?

Referring to the shifter on the SS. How much shorter will it be with this shifter if so, how sure are you that it will fit.

I'm really not too positive. I'd have to give B&M a call sometime tomorrow to find out for sure...

As far as fitment, I'm positive it'll fit. Gravanatuning.com sells the same shifter as well by the way

Are you referring to how LESS the physical shift is in the movement of the shifter? Or are you referring to the actual height of the product...

Also, I'm sure that these fit the SS. We have them available. I spoke with B&M today about the product...

Remember if you get a replacement knob you HAVE to have one compatible with reverse lockout like this momo knob....

Yes, the shift knob can be changed. However, please make sure the new shiftknob is 12 x 1.25 for the threads, and its a reverse lock-out...
