Cobalt SS Throttle Body
Cobalt SS Throttle Body
Hey Guys, I don't know if that's normal for my throttle body sticking open while I kept on driving. When I start my car it idle at around 800rpm then when I start driving my car. When it come to let off gas, it go down around to 1900rpm it won't go down but when I slow my car to full stop it go down slowly. Then I had my car at full stop then it go down to 800rpm. I was saying to myself that don't make sense. I cleaned my throttle body and everything. Now I am getting like No Lift Shift going on my car right now. No Check Engine at all! I am on 50# with 2.9 pulley.
Might be in your tune. When I was tuned by intense mine would stay at 1500 rpm idle if i was moving and 800 idle if I was stopped. Now with ZZP tune my moving idle is around 1200 rpm or so.
I think its just that these cars have 2 difrent idles, one for moving one for stoped. Moving idle being higher to help with shifting and to keep thing going I supose.

Before, I didn't have tune from a tuner. I had canned tune it didn't do this til I have a tuner then it changed, I guess it's normal cause I did tried reset 2 or 3 times. I did plugging off my throttle body and nope it don't work. It's still the same.
