Hey...DUDE...did you ever think there was a reason an EVO has all wheel drive...mmmm...maybe cause its made for rally racing and twisties and not a straight line...now im not saying it wont give an SS a good race but once that thing hits 80 its got nothing left

I know a guy with a WRX that dyno'd at 173 HP at the wheels stock, he is way above that now with a lot of mods but in stock form it's very restricted, exhaust wise.
Well, a few days ago I went and stopped at a Dodge dealership to see what an SRT-4 is all about. Even though I did not drive it, but from sitting in it and looking at it nothing impressed me, it may be somewhat faster but there is no way i'd trade my SS for an SRT-4. I really like my Recaro seats and everything about the car. To me its personal preference and my preference is my SS/SC

Most of us are willing to give props to the SRT4 for power, so it's not like we're hating on the thing, just being realistic.
I was going to say "Next time your at your favorite DC dealer, go take a look at the ______, then go take a look at the SRT4" but even after browsing Chrysler.com and Dodge.com, I couldn't find any interiors that I liked enough to fill in the blank. The 300C looks ok, but it's not any nicer than the SS either.

Dont even try to make it look like im favoring the SS over the SRT because I have one, it is you who are favoring others over it.
I love the GTO I would take a GTO over an SS, but again you cant compare them b/c one starts at 32gs and the other at 21gs.
Here I got one, go look at the interior of Escalade then take a good long look at the interior of a pinto!

MANY MANY, things use plastic that doesnt make it cheap, what do you want leather on a button that you will use every day, or maybe glass like the windows?? They use plastic b/c it is durable and it actually looks good if you keep it clean so dont go trashing a car b/c it has plastic every damn car has plastic!

Wait wait, uhm all wheel drive is much better in a straight line, there is less wheel spin b/c their is more traction. and where did you get evos have nothing after 80??!?!? that turbo is going crazy at theat point its got insane power man!
I think what eveyone is trying to say about AWD is this.
The only reason Evolution's, WRX's and WRX STi's are considered threats are due to the fact that with AWD they can cut superior 60ft and 1/8 mile times. After that they are dead weight, thus why there trap speeds compared to 60ft and 1/8 are nothing special.
A Lamborghini has enough HP that it doesn't matter.

stock evo's and sti's DONT have that much power from a roll....its the races from a stop that they shine in...... and this is true for stock cars, modified, it can be quite different
