Cold start problems

Hey guys

Been having this problem for over a month now and me and my buddy just cannot figure it out.

When I cold start the car, it seems to go into a limp mode type deal. (though doesn't throw the limp mode code on dash). Car won't boost past 5psi and i have a hard time revving past 2k.

The car is literally undrivable during this time also, it bogs real bad and won't power up or go past 2k.

On cold starts, it takes about 10 minutes to go away. On warm starts it takes about 1 minute.

Car is an 06 ion redline with 30k miles.
Mods:
Kn typhoon cai
Custom 2.5 catback with 2.5 dynomax super turbo muffler
zzp 3 inch catted dp
cx racing dual pass heat exchanger
custom dual pass end plate
2.9 pulley
80s
hpt on e85

Any help would be appreciated. Problem started right after final tune. Had multiple guys go through the tune, but no one can seem to find anything.

Car is also throwing two codes.
P0101 - maf/leak code
p0171 - lean code bank 1

thanks!

Not throwing any specific codes for fuel pump.

Few other things. According to hp tuners. During this 'problem', when I rev it the car is go is going extremely lean even though commanded not too. It seems to be centered around the throttle body.

The throttle body is clean and leak free. With the low miles, just doesn't seem right to me that it would be failed.

Had multiple people look over the tune and so far no one has found an error. My tuner is pretty good but we were doing this late at night and very little sleep. So you never know.

He's coming back down next weekend and we gonna try some other things.

Our current guess right now is the maf. Just cause it would kind of make sense. But never know. Just wanna get it running good.

Just curious if you had any further progress with this....I have a 07 cobalt that won't boost past 5psi and it's loud as hell when going past 2k rpm. the car starts find and does not bog, but I will check the air intake and throttle body tonight

it wont throw a code for a bad fuel pump but have you checked the key pressure of the pump and running cold pressure what how long has the fuel filter been on the car and have you ever changed it if none of the above seem to help i would put it back on gas and see if it helps your problem

if the temp is below 40 degree's. put it back on pump gas.

my guess is something fucked in the tune. also, if the coolant temp is blelow 140 degree's, don't beat on it

Just got mine tuned for E85 on tuesday and when its cold here in Michigan it starts and dies a few times. then it might run a bit rough. Usually if I start it a few minutes early and let it warm up it helps a lot. Not sure if this will help you.

Well issue is fixed now.

We turned it back on the gms2 settings, then did a write entire of the actual tune (same tune as before) and the issue went away.

Thinking maybe just some weird glitch in the computer did this.
