Completely Stock Dyno Results

Hi guys. Long time reader, first time poster. I've had my 06 G85 SS/SC for a week now and I took it to the closest dyno around yesterday to get some good baseline numbers. I was very pleased with the results.

First pull - 221 hp, 191 tq
Second Pull - 224 hp, 193 tq
Third Pull - 229 hp, 196 tq'

I plan on doing a complete exhaust setup with a CAI soon and will take it to the dyno again to see a few higher numbers!

Looks like the operator got "Bigger *****" on the second and third pulls.

Dyno Operators scare me a bit because it's not their car.

I prefer to pull my own car if they will let me.

whats different about operating? You put your foot down until the rev limiter? A trained monkey can do that

I think its more of a piece of mind thing. I know for a fact I'm the only one who ever drove my car and I wouldn't like someone else to be driving like

Nice numbers. I said this before and I'll say it again. Our Cobalt SS/SC are considered under dogs to people who don't have brains. These cars are under rated and thats great because I see alot of people pulling great stock dyno numbers. To dyno a stock cobalt SS/SC at like 220HP and close to 200torq is something good to start with and something to be proud of. Congrats....wish I could get some stock numbers. Every car is a little differant.

I agree after seeing a brand new Volvo S60R jump off the AWD dyno. Luckily the guy got the car stopped before it fell off the dyno too! We're talking inches, and the rich kid had about **** his pants at that point!

Great numbers by the way.
