hopefully you got a cometic head gasket and some new ARP studs!

might as well upgrade when you got the head apart!

not to jack this thread but while we are on coolant issues.. my 99 grand am 3.4L winter beater has the infamous dexcool ate the intake gasket problem... air somehow charges my cooling system and makes it **** out the overflow tube til the coolant burbles and the car overheats... anyone have a quick fix idea for this other then changing the intake gasket or junking the car? lol already ran leakstop in the coolant and am not flushing the system because the dirt may be what's holding things together..

Yes, the seals are killer expensive new. When I did my SC build I got a used intake and the seals were wrecked. Since I am a dealer we had an o-ring kit in house that had the proper size and thickness of seals for the cores. You have to look around and get the correct size and thickness... but I wouldn't put back together without new. So far so good on my setup.

i used ZZPs hose routing diagram. but again i dunno if i have the cores correct. everyone says sumthin different
did you try talking direct with zzp? That's what I would do if you're getting different info and are not sure which is correct.

its in the head gasket

get it checked out by a competent machine shop and replace the gasket

coolant won't be in your exhaust too if its the blower system
