cooling help.

okay is the radiator the heat exchanger? when i got an estimate on fixing my car it had the radiator, an aux radiator, and the ac condenser. it would be much cheaper if i got an aftermarket heat exchanger but i dont know which it is.

And also run on two separate systems, I had some work done in a non-GM body shop and they never thought to fill the heat exchanger because they thought it was plumbed in with the radiator.

your radiator cools ur engine !
the auxiliary radiator " aka the heat exchanger " cools the air after it passing/compressed by the supercharger !

get a stock heat exchanger or get the griffin one from ottp, and u'll be set for good !
as far as the radiator you can get them cheap for about 60-80 dollars on ebay, used heat exchange run about 60-100 dollars...

Contact FUSION on here, they're cheap reliable and will get you all the parts you need !

How sure are you that these heat exchangers won't provide the same amount of cooling as the stock heat exchanger?

Personally, I still would since the goal is to get as much cooling as possible, but you can get by without the stock HE if you run one that large.

I ran the zzp stage 3 heat exchanger without the stocker for a week since my stocker broke, the temps went up faster and took longer to drop down, and i had option b dual pass and yes my pump was working my opinion is get the stocker and and a zzp stage 3 h/e or an ottp heat exchanger and run it with the stocker and call it a day unless you have some money then you can buy the griffin h/e alone !!!

thats my .02
