cooling mist water injection help

so reading on there site it does not say how much a turn does on the boost switch. Supposedly from cooling mist the pump is supposed to come on at 10psi. Yesterday i wired in a LED to show me when the pump turns on and i checked it. It is not coming on until around 14-15psi. Now is that because our gauges or in accurate or is it the boost switch. It did take a long time for my led to turn on in a 2nd gear pull from 40mph, probably came on at around 55ish mph at WOT

There is an adjustment that allows you to control when the pump will activate, per boost.

No, very minute adjustments.

Although it may be different from other switches, so you should check the manual.

Check the switch boost range, there are different types....from what I remember, there were 5-15 psi and 15-? switches

My switch was set close to 10psi but not right on, i wouldn't worry about that too much.

I found that turning the Allen screw counter clockwise 1 turn will decrease the activation by approx 2psi give or take a little. If i were you i would turn it down 2-3 turns till it activates at 5psi and work your way up from there.

The pump/system has a little lag in it, i would set for 8psi if you want it to come on at 10, and so on.

Use compressed shop air and hook it up to the switch with a vac/psi gauge tee'd in and adjust the switch that way.
By looking at your L.E.D. source for a switching refrence.

This is what i do...
