Cooling Mods

I Have a 2007 SS Supercharged with the Recaro package and GM Stage 2, Sometime next week I will be getting The Cobra Heat Exchanger, Now, I thrash my car around a road race track Is there any additional cooling modifications i can make to ensure a good few hours of thrashing on a track or even on a nice long cruise (Parts that will not void my warranty) Any ideas? Thank-you

DEF get a dual pass endplate if your going with a heat exchanger. With this M62 theres NEVER enough cooling. Consider some meth as well. If i owned a SS/SC i know i would be doing all cooling mods possible .

Alot of people are suggesting the Meth, thats GM Stage 3 correct? However, i understand that it does void the warranty i don't know why if GM offers it as a stage kit. I'm just curious how the Cobalt GRAND AM cup cars keep cool on that track.

Dude your gunna void the warrany anyhow so do what i did, **** IT!!!! muhaha. and yes the cobra heat exchanger was a bitch, this is exactly why i paid a couple guys i know with a local shop to do mine. but definetly get a methanol injection kit through alcoholinjectionsystems.com cause it will dramatically bring down your IAT's especially if you tune for it, which is what im doing next. and just for some heads up, dont waste your money on the bwoody brackets for the cobra heat exchanger for they had to bend and cut mine to get it to work right with the heat exchanger. i would just make your own and save yourself alot of money.

no gm stage 3 is different from meth. Go to crateenginedepot.com and read up on the FAQ about it, then go to alcoholinjectionsystems.com and they have great info on their site to explain the meth...

Dual-Pass Intercooler Plate is a must have. You might wanna throw the Option B cooling kit on as well.

PM ItalianJoe1 and he can set you up with a Dual Pass.

The Dual Pass and Option B is how the GRAND AM Cup cars stay cool.

I made my own with some flat steel. Just a warning though, the heater hose is hard to get off the pump.

Really, damn. I have already bought the BWoody Brackets, and The Cobra H/E oh well hopefully it turns out allright. I have a friend who works in parts at my dealer he ordered the parts for me and someone will install it. Hopefully its not a Bitch to install.

I also hear people talking about spray or mist, and its on your front mount and it sprays onto your front mount thus cooling the air charge significantly. any such products like that for the ss/sc
