cooling question

cooling question

Ok so here very very soon for my lsj I'm going to be buying some cooling moods my iat's temps are getting a little to high its hitting dang neer the 190 daily 180 if I'm lucky oh did I forget to mention that I live in Texas where its always hot every day mostly in the high 90 well after these conditions here are my mods I'm doing

duel pass
option b
heat exchanger
replace my ic pump (mine is still working but better replace it now)
aluminum rad

now here is my question is the zzp phenolic intake spacer really help out with cooling have anyone used or using it is it really worth getting

if your iat temps are hitting 180-190 your intercooler pump is not working. how are you getting your iat temps? if your reading the dash, thats your engine coolant temp, not your iat temps

Yea. I bet he's looking at his DIC. That's normal home boy. And actually for an ecotec, it's cold.

What they all said.... you need an interceptor or hptuners to read IAT2's.

If you are in fact seeing 180-190 your pump is shot. Swap it out for a new one and call it a day.

No its not the dash and I do have a intecepter soo its my ic pump that needs to be changed

edit and plus I'm not that dumb haha I know that the temp of of the coolant I'm not blonde ha I made a funny

You would be surprised how many people do just that.

Replace your pump first, and see where that gets you before you start throwing other parts at it. Also, the ZZP spacer is no good, it usually leaks.
