please tell me you don't have any cooling mods at all with that 2.5, if so, you need to get meth injection FAST!! and then get a cobra H/E to compliment it. Meth injection will benefit you the most though and save your motor. That 2.5 is way to small for no cooling mods.

washer fluid works fine, most kits come with a check valve so you won't need to worry about that

hydrolock shouldn't be much of an issue, with the nozzle and the check valve, hydrolock won't occur. Windshield washer fluid works perfect. Just make sure you get the -20 or so degrees stuff. I use EXTREME BLUE. You can also go for the more expensive stuff, HEET. It is straight up alcohol. You'll see the best gains from it. but it's quite a bit pricey compared to the EXTREME BLUE which is like a little over a $1 a gallon. HEET is like almost a $1.50 for 1 quart.
