I have corsa cat back on my car along with zzp's lt header and catted dp. I have been getting pulled over a lot recently because the exhaust is pretty loud and the cops around my town are real ******** when it comes to that. I was thinking about going back to stock exhaust but i didnt know if that was acceptable with my current set up. here is my mod list-

i would trade you just the catback for my stock lsj piping with lnf muffler.

 

if it will bolt straight up and is quiet then that sounds good. whats the diff in the lnf muffler and lsj muffler

 

It's not packed as much since a turbo is quieter.
I'm not trying to screw a sale or anything, but supposedly the LNF muffler sounds like poop on the LSJ.
I dunno how it'll be with your ZZP combo either.

 

damm really... mines is quiet as hell while cruising and sounds mean when i get on it but still not to loud... do you have touring or sport for your corsa exhaust?

I have the sport with bad mab and zzp downpipe, mine isn't loud. maybe you have an exhaust leak?

 

i thought the same thing and got it checked in febuary and no leak


nobody has stock exhaust they want to trade me haaha. im about to get another resonator welded in if not!

 

I'd like to trade you, but I drive my car everyday. Is there a way we could secure the trade if you sent me the corsa to put on and sent my stock back to you? Also is it the sport or touring? How many miles on the catback?

i am in the same delima, i have been driving my WRX everyday but i have started a build and need my cobalt now haha. but i can prolly work something out and send you the exhaust and park my car for a few days. I believe i have the sport, when i bought the car it had the exhaust on it already so im not real sure. I think its the sport bc its so loud other wise idk how to tell if it is or not. Also i am not sure how many miles is on the catback but the car only has 67,000 miles on it so it couldnt be anymore than that!

 

Before i even consider trading, i need to know if my car will still run properly with the stock exhaust and my tune..

I'm surprised the Corsa is that loud with a cat. I am catless with a magnaflow and it is not that loud. Just a deep rumble. The megan I had was ridiculously loud. I had to sell that one.

 

it was catless but i got a small "baby" cat and put that on to pass inspection
