Question Corsa Touring #14129

Found some good prices on the Corsa exhaust systems where they seem not to screw you too much on shipping ($78.00). I was going to order the #14129 system but the item description seems kinda funky, "CORSA EXHST - 14129 - COBLT SPRCHG SS 2.0L EX05". Does anybody know what the "EX05" means ?? Are the 05 & 06 systems the same part number ?

Well I just couldn't wait any longer I ordered the system today, it was $678.00 delivered and in my opinion still way too much $$$ for a catback system. I hope I like the way it sounds in person as I bought this on reports from others and the sound clips that were posted (thanX guys). I'll keep eveyone posted as to how eveything goes.

I assume it means "exhaust and 2005"

It does fit both the 2005 and 2006, I would ask if they even stock that part. We doubt they are an authorized dealer.

We do stock all the Corsa exhaust systems, and if you have any warrenty issues we are here to take care of you.

Corsa is very touchy with warrenty work if you purchased under what they consider the "lowest you can sell it at" and they are under that.

I just received this e-mail from him 1 hour ago:

"Gary, your order should go out on Monday. When I get the tracking number, I'll email it to you. Thanks for your business. Look around the store because I guarantee there is more in there than people realize. There are over 125,000 parts in there. Anyways, thanks again for your business and hope to hear from you again in the future.
Thanks
Randy"

Randy also says it would carry a full warrenty as do most of the products he sells.

Aaron, I know you are very helpful around here and you guys run a very clean business but there are better deals out there.

lets wait until u get ur stuff shipped to ur door and workin properly before we make these kind of comments. TTR has some of the best prices available and until another proven vendor comes in, i prolly would go with TTR. that being said, i havent actually bought anything yet, but im waitin for summer before i blow all my cash

I'll keep everyone updated on my RAD TOYS CENTRAL order. I have NOTHING against Aaron or TTR but again, there are others out there.

I agree that $678 seems like way too much for a catback. That is almost the same price as the most expensive exhaust you can get for a cobra, which has DUAL EXHAUST. I don't see how it can be that expensive.

Just got the tracking # and it should be here Thursday, fast shipping. I'll install it this weekend and let everyone know.

Also Randy at Rad Toys Central says if a part you are looking for is not listed on his sight to just e-mail him with what you are looking for and he will try to beat anyones price.

I recieved it yesterday. Very nice workmanship on all parts. Me and my 30 pack of Milwaukee's best light are going out in the garage soon

The date on the muffler is 3-14-2006.

We actually just received a very good deal on Corsa 14128 (sport 2.0) and 14129 (Touring 2.0), they would be shipping in about 2 weeks.

We are offering 12% off the internet price and free shipping. Limited quantities avaliable, first come first served. PM or email us for this 12% off discount code.

The sport comes to about $648 shipped and the touring is about $668 shipped. Again, this price we are offering is lower than our normal cost, from Corsa. Take advantage of these great savings today!

We bought so many of the 2.0 systems at one time they gave us a one time extra discount, so we are passing it on to you. We can still offer 5% extra off the 2.2 and 2.4L systems, from the special we are running in the "Turbo Tech Racing" Forum

Sport has more tone than the touring does. If you want it a bit more aggressive get the sport

Just got done with the installation, it took 3 hours taking my sweet ass time. In my opinion it is much louder than stock. I'm glad I didn't get the sport sytem as this touring system is plenty loud. Fitment is excellent although the resinator does seem to hang lower to the ground by about 1" or so. Also glad I went with the 2 1/2" pipe as the stock exhaust is anywhere from 2 1/4" to 2 1/2". The ticking noise from the exhaust is also reduced by about 80%.

I installed my touring exhaust this weekend. I thought the hardest part was cutting the old exhaust. I agree, I'm glad I didn't get the sport. The touring sounds great! I definately notice the performance gains also.
