crankcase breather

I have a rd fabs intake, but didn't specify that I wanted a little nipple thing so I can hook up the hose from the valve cover to the intake tube so they didn't put one on (grr nickel and dime you to death), so I put a crancase filter on the end of the tube and shoved it down into the engine bay. Long story short, I opened my hood today to fill up the washer fluid and found all sorts of oil and crap coming out of the hose. This is not good. What should I do with this hose since I don't have one of these nipple things on my intake to connect the hose to?

Has anyone looked up what that tube is there for? you should research it and see what purpose it serves.

Oil return line?Over flow?Where do you people get ur information from lol?Its designed to take the vapors out of the crank case and reburn them. That hose is on the intake for a reason. There was a big post about it awhile ago.The intake shoulda came with one.You pay good money for that **** and they dont put it on,id have them send you another one.Your best bet is to have it on the intake and put a catch can inbetween.

ehhhhhhhhh yes and no. there is a fine line between good and bad on these engines. which in a sense is why some of them go blamo.

pcv system sucks ass. always has since 97. the pcv system is there to create a negative pressure/vacuum on the crankcase. nothing more. there is a way around this. a better way.
