Crazy Problem!

Ok, I am putting my ss/sc back to stock to get rid of it, and today I took off my intake and manual goost gauge. After installing the stock boost gauge it lights up seems good to go. (its been out of the car for about 2 years) well I start the car it idles all wierd and dies i restart it it idles weird again but settles to normal. I go out for a small drive aroud the block and the gague isnt reading boost or vacuum just sitting at 10vac. I come back remember to plug in the MAF or IAT which ever is in the air box. I start it it idles rough for a few seconds then levels out. I go out to test it again. this is the crazy part.

The needle stays at 10 vac lags a second at WOT and goes down past 30 vac up to 18 psi!
Like its backwards! I checked all the things I touched today nothing has fixed it.

Please, HELP! has anyone seen, heard of, or know how to fix this?

Thanks

It might be possible that the gauge is broken... .try another one and see what happens and go from there, but yes that is fucked up
