Crazy slipage?

ok i've noticed this a few times launching my car. even when i do a 15+ pull and throwing it into second the clutch just slips non stop.... not sure whats going on, but when i launch i rev to about 2.5 grand and drop the clutch, and it slips. then going into second gear its like it doesnt want to stick till the tach drops down to about 2 grand... whats the deal? my old DSM i could drop the clutch at 4 grand and have no slipage going into second at high rpm...am i launching wrong? whats the deal... kinda embarising getting my ass whoped by a old integra thats bone stock other then a fart can... HELP!

uhh... dropping the clutch is one of your problems. that is not how you launch a car

also, i had that same sort of pause from a hard 1-2 shift and after i installed my torque damper it was virtually gone. just something to think about

IMO you have already glazed your clutch, so no matter what you do, if you drive it hard, you will continue to slip the clutch. Solution: Pick your vendor and buy a stage 3 clutch and be done with it. While you are in there, you might as well put an aluminum flywheel in it too. Minus the flywheel, any other solution is a compromise and will not give you the performance you should get from the car.
