cruise control problem & no coolant in reservoir
just like the title says my cruise control wont switch on i dont know if its a fuse or the button is messed up in the steering wheel but everytime i try to turn it on it wont do it ive pressed it several times then itd say cruise control was on but it would switch off fast. also the coolant in the reservoir is full but right in the front where you can see it moving around is nowhere to be found i dont know if the intercooler pump is done for or not. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Did you fill the front reservoir? Theirs a difference between that and the actual coolant reservoir.
If you fill it up with dexcool or distilled water, you should see it swirl around if the pump works still.

My cruise does the same thing, and I've been trying to fix it for over a year.
All 3 of my 3rd tail light lights work and I have no brake lights out either.
I'm thinking it's the clutch switch that's nestled someway up the dash above the clutch pedal.

If you're running an LED 3rd brake light without the resistor the cruise won't work. If the wire back there is lose, same deal. I chased this around for a little bit till I finally got it squared away.
Also, you're right, if you can reach your toe under the clutch and lift it then the switch probably isn't being depressed and then no cruise.

Mine doesn't. The switch isn't what I'd be concerned with. Are you having a problem with your cruise?
If so, try lifting the pedal. Does the cruise go on? If it does, then it isn't the switch.

"lifting" the pedal doesn't make it work. It moves forward a bit, but still spams out on the DIC, like OP.

The best way to find the issue is to have a GM dealer hook it to a Tech2 and see what the BCM has to say, but most of them will charge you a diagnostic fee to do that.
