Cry02 Idea....

I dont know if this would be worth it, but I was thinking about a cry02 system, has anyone ever used one? i found a 3 inch intake tube adapter thing, with some bulb in it that the c02 super cools in turn cooling the air, i think the optimum location for this 4 inch section would be right before the throttle body, only problem is that my fujita is there, so id most likely have to cut it down a little bit, and just play with some rubber couplers to get it to fit, i really want to try it out, as it is supposed to have the effect of almost a dry nitrous shot, and i dont want to mess with nitrous, all this said, i then had a revelation, what if i had a spacer made to fit between the throttle body and sc? this would allow the air to be super cooled right before entering the supercharger. my moms boyfriend works with a cnc machine all day, so it wouldnt be hard to get the spacer made, however, i dont know what the bulb is made out of, and if the c02 just goes through it and exits, or if it is almost injected into the intake tube. if anyone knows anything about this, could you please let me know, i have found the kits for a decent price, i mean im not expecting a 50hp increase or anything, but i have a 3 inch pully that i need to put on, and i really think it would help as far as keeping the heat down at the track and what not. I try not to street race anymore, and dont really intend to, but if i needed, i could get that extra cooling help at the push of a button. All input is greatly appreciated, as I don't have any prior knowledge as to how the system works..... thanks guys

Big waste of money to get an expensive mod like that just to set it up for the purge. Anyway, cyro systems don't purge like n2o does.

If done right however, we could see very good gains from one. A lot of Cobra guys love them.

Yes...but like using it on a paintball gun gotta keep the tank warm or the CO2 will freeze and you will be sending little chunks into the engine after prolonged use or in cold temps....

i think it would be cool to set up a cooling system inside the engine bay that sprays cos under the hood so that the engine temps would drop drastically that would help free some heat loss power

i brought the kit but had to sell it because no one would fill it, its really hard to find to someone to do it, becasue the bottle doesn't say how much it weighs empty, and places that fill paint ball guns won't fill a 10lb tank, and the nozzel it comes with won't hook up to their lines. so idk thats the problem i had.

i heard a beer distributer would fill it, or you can always have a nitrous filler put nitrous in since it has the same cooling effects
