Does anyone have any actual dyno numbers for a stage 2 car going from the gm tune, to a custom tune? I have to say i was pretty disappointed in the difference the stage 2 made. i was hoping for alot more, buy maybe going from my 11 second mustang to this car is just inevitably going to leave me wanting more. i still thought roughly 30 whp should have felt like alot more.

my car doesnt make any funny noises, not alot of black smoke or anything.

I just want to know if a custom tune will be worth the trouble, im not going to bother if its 2.4whp and 1.7 ft lbs.

every car is different. even with the same mods. two cars set up the same, will run different.

you can not base your car on someone else's

 

thats not the spirit of the question. i dont want to know the exact hp gains, i want a range of gains so i can determine if its worth it.

do custom tunes tend to improve peak hp only, or do they make the curves much more broad?

 

depends on mods really. my personal tune that i built for my car is stock gm part throttle.
i moved the peak torque up in the band at lower rpms, and picked up a little bit more top end via timing tricks. aside from this, it's a lot smoother over all.
