The guys there are great. I am still in the process of putting a kit together but Chance always replies to my emails promptly and has helped me out a lot.

Nice kit. Easy to install, and has it's fairly cheap to boot. I helped install one on a friends Audi TT.

Would it be possible for you to write a "How to Install" on this kit?

When I buy one here in a few months I will. I did it a while ago, and pictures would seriously help the explanation.

Is there much of a difference between this one and the one from SnowPerformance? If so, which is better?

Snowperformance comes with a resivour bottle. Depending on the stage kit you purchase, it may contain a progressive controller for better tunability for those looking to get every last ounce of performance with PCM tuning in conjuction with it. The Devils Own kit is more for the average tuner that would like the injection to start spraying at a set boost level per their desires in order to cool down the air charge. It's a simple kit, and you can buy a resivour bottle for cheap or use your windshield washer bottle. If you use your windshield washer bottle, don't spray the methanol on your windshield though!

Thanks for the info, I guess then the SnowPerformance kit would be better for higher boost numbers than the Devils Own kit would be.

Water/Methanol injection sprays a fine mist into the induction charge. It cools the charge down signifcantly and the methanol acts as an octane booster at the same time to help combat detonation.

That is not true. Devil's Own is huge in the SRT nation and some of those guys push monster boost. And Snow does offer a boost initiated setup. The Devil's Own progressive controller is more comparable to Snow. Big difference is that DO uses the MAP signal where as the Snow kit uses a MAF translator setup that is based off MAF frequency. DO does not offer this. Advantage is that DO's progressive controller kit is only 305 and with a tank it is still 100 bucks cheaper than the Snow kit.

Does the meth/water spray into the engine or for cooling the super charger?
By detonation do you mean blowing up the super charger or the engine?

As far as I know it's used to cool intake air temperatures. Some people spray pre blower using an adapter, some spray after blower and I've even seen someone add ports to an intake manifold.

So it's more for cooling the engine and creating horse power?

I wouldn't say cooling the engine so much as cooling the intake air. The supercharger gets hot especially with smaller pulleys and keeping that air temperature in acceptable temperatures helps with you making power. I think you can also use methanol/alcohol for additional fueling for more power but I'm not to sure on how all that works.

I have a 2.7 pulley just installed ottp stage 3 kit ( not the TVS) I also believe my coolant pump is bad which I ordered one. I just don't want to melt my super charger or engine. And was told I should get a meth kit. so idk it it would go into the super charger and that cooler air goes into the engine or if you do it directly into the engine. If you can do it cooking the super charger at the same time would be ideal. I'm new to all this and want a nice 300whp daily reliable driver

Riceburner has had experience with methanol as well as bluelightning and 100%meth. Those may be some good guys to ask additional questions from.

I have other issues now smh. check engine light came on so I took it to an auto parts store and scanned it and it's a P1182 super charger inlet pressure sensor performance. I cleared it and drove home ( it's probably a mile and a half away) and then drove normal didn't even crack the throttle and eng power reduced came on and could only drive 30 miles per hour.

Painted the throttle body black? Did he manually move the butterfly valve?

He painted the whole super charger black. With high temp motor paint.
Yeah we shoved paper in it so no paint got in. I'm wondering if paint got on the sensor or if it's a coincidence or something idk. Irritating
